What's for Dinner tonight?
As I think of fall recipes, I thought of pork chops and cinnamon apples. Terry had boneless pork chops thawing and I decided to add some cinnamon apples.
I tenderized and seasoned the chops with Cavender's Greek Seasoning, rubbed them with mustard, honey, a dash of balsamic vinegar and apricot preserves (sugar free). Put them in greased casserole uncovered on 375 to bake for 25-30 minutes.
I took a can of apple pie filling, added cinnamon,6 small pats of butter and 1 TBSP brown sugar. Cook uncovered on 375 for 20 minutes. BTW, you can use sugar free apple pie filling and Splenda Brown Sugar for a healthier version.
Whole green beans are cooking on the stove with Cavender's Greek Seasoning, Olive Oil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Balsamic Vinegar, on medium heat for 20 minutes, drain and throw in a hot skillet sprayed with Pam, add a shake of crushed red pepper and a sprinkle of brown sugar, sauté and serve.
Give it a whirl, it's delicious and super easy dinner in 30 minutes...
Bon Appetit!
